Have yourself a Merry Egyptian Christmas on a 5-day holiday in Cairo and Luxor, blending history with holiday cheer. In Cairo, delve deep into the heritage of this city on a comprehensive visit to the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, and the Khan El Khalili bazaar. Next, travel to Luxor, the world's largest open-air museum, which just so happens to boast tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the brilliant Karnak Temple complex, and the iconic Luxor Temple. This travel package offers a mix of ancient wonder discovery, cultural exploration, and a new holiday experience in Egypt in a festive way.
A representative from our Best Destination Tours will be present at the Cairo International Airport and will be carrying a placard with your name on it. After this, you will be taken to your hotel, traveling in a private air-conditioned car. Inside the hotel, our assistant will facilitate your check-in and go through your Christmas travel itinerary with you in order to clarify the timing for each tour's pick-up. Enjoy your time and stay in Cairo.

Savor your initial breakfast in your hotel in Cairo. Your guide takes you to the Giza Plateau to explore an enormous burial structure for the Egyptian king Cheops—one of the remaining Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—and the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, the iconic Sphinx, and the valley temple of the great statue as part of our many tours to Egypt. After that, you will go along to Saqqara, where the Step Pyramid complex and the first all-stone structure in history (Djoser pyramid can be found). The tour covers going inside the Teti’s pyramid. You'll have a lunch break and afterwards you're going to visit Memphis, the sensible and religious capital of Egypt for a whole millennium and which remained a cultural hub for all three thousand years of ancient Egypt, to see its open-air museum famous for the alabaster sphinx. Return to hotel and overnight in Cairo.

A hearty breakfast will be taken at the hotel. then transferred to Cairo International Airport for a flight to Luxor. starting from the West Bank of Luxor, which includes visits to the Valley of the Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which is also called the Temple of Deir El Bahari. Then our tour guide holds the East Bank of Luxor tours and begins with a visit to the Karnak temple complex.
Head towards Luxor temple to explore the temple courtyard and the Ramses II granite statues. You will be transferred back to the Luxor hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor.

A breakfast will be provided in the hotel.Transfer to Luxor airport in order to board your flight to Cairo. When you reach Cairo, your private guide will take you straight away to the Egyptian Museum, which is home to the largest assemblage of Egyptian artefacts and treasures ever found, but most notably the splendid treasures of the Caput mortuum of the golden pharaoh, Tutankhamun. This is towards our normal Egypt tour packages. Then your driver and guide will take you to Saladin’s Citadel and the Mokkattam Hills while you also get to see the famous alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali and the breathtaking view of old Islamic Cairo, adorned with hundreds, and in some cases thousands, year-old mosques and minarets. Indulge in your meal inside a wonderful place, and after that, make your way to Coptic Cairo, sightseeing the old Roman walls of Babylon and the Hanging Church over the old walls, the church of St. Sergius, who’s the crypt that housed the holy family for nearly three months and the water source that served them, which was within the walls, after which we will tour the Ben Ezra, which is said to be the palace of the pharaoh, of which the basket containing Moses was found floating in the river.Travel alongside any of the places to be visited in Islamic Cairo, and make sure to rub elbows with the locals at the historic Khan El Khalili market, also known as the old bazaar in Cairo. Check into the hotel and overnight in Cairo.
