Upon arrival in Luxor, start your journey by meeting your private tour guide to discover ancient Egyptian civilization in the most famous archaeological sites along the Riverbank. During your private 8-day guided tour of Cairo and Nile cruise, you will explore Luxor East Bank attractions like Karnak Temple. No site in Egypt is more impressive than the Karnak temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone, which exists in Cairo, then moved 700 KM to Luxor. Sail to Esna and Edfu.

After breakfast, move to explore the Temple of God. Hours: Edfu temple is considered the most preserved Greco-Roman temple all over Egypt, and on its walls, portrayed scenes of the overcoming of Horus over the devil god Seth. Then sail to Kom Ombo to visit Kom Ombo Temple: A temple overlooking the Nile. This temple is divided into 2 temples with 2 entrances, 2 hypostyle halls, and 2 sanctuaries. Don’t miss learning about the Kom Ombo temple history, which offers fascinating insights into its unique dual design and its dedication to the gods Sobek and Horus.
Overnight in Aswan (late night arrival).

The High Dam was built across the Nile at Aswan. The High Dam was constructed between 1960 and 1970 and has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt. The Unfinished Obelisk: The largest known ancient obelisk. It was ordered by Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC), possibly to complement the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally at Karnak, and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome). The Philae temple dedicated to the goddess Isis of Love and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam. Don’t miss the chance to explore the hidden gems in Aswan, which offer a glimpse into the area's rich history and culture. Transfer to the airport of Aswan or the train station, travel to Cairo, arrive & transfer to the hotel and overnight.

After breakfast, you will be accompanied by your guide to the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, the Famous Sphinx, and the Valley temple facing the great statue. Additional visit to the Solar Boat in front of Cheops Pyramid (extra ticket on spot). Lunch will be served in a good quality restaurant, and then proceed to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and the first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid). Move to Memphis, the Old Kingdom's capital, and the famous Necropolis.

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: the Egyptian Museum, the treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot). Enjoy lunch throughout the tour at a local restaurant. Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar, and experience some of the unique things to do in Cairo.
