Greetings from Greece! At the airport, you will be met by our representative who will help you with your transportation to the hotel. If you're considering one of the most exciting Europe tours, this is the perfect start to your adventure. Check into the hotel and prepare for your evening rest as you get ready for your most interesting travel adventure.
After your breakfast, move out with me and take a few moments touring the capital city of Athens. First and foremost, visit the Kalimármaro Stadium, the location tied with the organization of the first modern Olympic Games. When done here, move toward Hadrian's Arch, the Greek Parliament, and even the Monument to the Unknown Soldier. Here you can see the traditional Changing of the Guard at Syntagma Square, followed by a look around Omonia Square, which represents the colorful and lively heart of Athens. The Acropolis, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, will be next where you will be visiting The Parthenon, Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, and Erechtheion. The New Museum will end your impressive museum that houses priceless artifacts from ancient Greece. This afternoon remains free with you to discover Athens at your own pace. Finally, it returns to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you pack your bags and head for Lavrio Port, as it is from here that that spectacular cruise takes off. Now the trip from Athens to Mykonos begins with your journey toward beautiful Mykonos Island-now famous for its whitewashed buildings, cute little streets, and vivacious life. While on the island, you will enjoy fabulous beaches, little lovely alleyways, and nightlife that will thrill you.
And then, at the right hour, you'll be on the ship to sail off to Kusadasi, Turkey.
Disembarkation is at Kusadasi for a nice visit to the ancient ruins of Ephesus, considered one of the most well-preserved Roman cities in this world. Visit such points as the Temple of Artemis, the Library of Celsus, and the magnificent Theater.
Visit the ship again at the scheduled time and sail again to Patmos Island, Greece.
Reach the Island of Patmos, which is so well known for its tranquil beauty and is also associated with Saint John the Apostle. Stop by the Monastery of Saint John and the Cave of the Apocalypse, where it is believed that Saint John wrote the Book of Revelation. Discover the beautiful villages and savor the quietness that this holy island offers.
Come back to the ship after your tour and sail to Rhodes Island.
Disembark in Rhodes Island, a medieval gem with its fortified old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the Palace of the Grand Master, stroll through the Street of the Knights, and visit the Acropolis of Rhodes. Afterward, embark again on board and sail towards Heraklion-Crete. Upon arrival, we disembarked to explore the fascinating archaeological site of the Palace of Knossos, the ancient Minoan city that is considered the oldest civilization in Europe.
After breakfast disembark at Heraklion, and go to the ship for your Santorini journey. Known for its beautiful sunsets, white-washed buildings, and blue-domed churches, Santorini is a delight to discover on an island trip; famous for the caldera in which picturesque towns like Fira and Oia are located.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Lavrio Port of Athens for disembarkation and road to your hotel. Evening free for leisure and to enjoy your last night in Greece.
In the morning after breakfast, transfer for your return flight at the International Airport with unforgettable memory of your adventure in Greece and Turkey. End of services.
