Off to an amazing start today, you’ll be visiting the Giza Plateau in Egypt, which is renowned for its ancient Necropolis, known for its three great pyramids and the great sphinx. The site also houses the Solar Boat Museum and is one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. After you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a premium restaurant, we’ll be headed to explore the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which houses over 120,000 artifacts from the pre-dynastic, Pharaonic, and Greco-Roman periods. It also holds two rooms. The Treasures Room displays recovered artifacts from King Tutankhamen's tomb, while the Mummies Room houses real mummies in climate-controlled displays, which is a mind-blowing experience that traces back to thousands of years. After a day of wonderful sightseeing in one of the world’s most ancient sights, you can either relax at their hotel or explore the magic of Cairo on your own. Meals include Breakfast and Lunch.

Starting the third day with a mouthwatering breakfast at the hotel, off you go! You’ll be picked up from the hotel at the time agreed upon by you and the tour guide, and a great day will begin! Your first stop today will be at the vast and imposing Saladin Citadel, where you will also be taken to see the magnificent Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. This mosque was built mostly in Turkish style, and as a result, it is quite similar to the famous Blue Mosque in Istanbul. In addition to the mosque, the Citadel is also home to a number of other interesting venues. After your tour of the Citadel, you will be headed to Cairo’s Christian heritage area, an area known as Coptic Cairo. While here, you will visit a few different sites, including the famous Hanging Church of Cairo, with its long and fascinating history. Your last stop for the day will be at one of Cairo’s most endearing and charismatic sites, the centuries-old Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, where traders have been trading their wares ever since the 14th century. Egypt simply wouldn’t be complete without having the opportunity to explore and shop at this site, where you can more or less buy anything and everything. After this visit, your guide and driver will once again transfer you back to your hotel, where you will be able to enjoy another good night’s rest before your flight to Aswan in the morning. Waving Cairo goodbye for now with a delicious breakfast before checking out, the tour guide and the driver will be there to pick you up after check-out to head to the airport for your short flight to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, another one of our tour managers will be there to meet you and assist you, and he will then escort you to Aswan Port in a nice modern air-conditioned vehicle. Philae visit - Upon arrival at Aswan Port, you will board a 5-Star Nile River cruise ship for an unforgettable luxury river cruiser featuring a wide variety of world-class amenities, much the same as you would expect to find at any good 5-Star hotel. At lunchtime, you will enjoy a delicious onboard meal, and then you will have a few hours to settle in and relax before embarking at around 16:00 for a visit to the Nubian Museum by motor boat. This will only be a short excursion, so you should arrive back at the cruise ship at about 17:00, after which you will once again have some time for yourself. At 19:00, there will be a short cocktail reception party to welcome you on board the cruise, and then at 19:30, the crew will begin serving dinner in the vessel’s beautifully decorated dining area. Begin with a mouthwatering breakfast on the ship, and visit Edfu’s Temple of Horus. This temple was buried beneath the sand for approximately 2,000 years, and it is because of this that it has been preserved so nicely. Not only is it the best-preserved temple of the Ancient World, but it is also one of the largest temples of the ancient world, and a trip to this site is one you probably won’t forget in a hurry. Building work at the temple began in 237 BC, and records indicate that it took 25 years to build. Following your visit to this temple, you will return to your cruise ship, and at around 15:00, it will set sail for Esna, where you will enjoy another delicious dinner and a good night’s sleep in your cabin on the quiet waters of the majestic Nile River. Off to a day, you’ll never forget! First, enjoy a nice, wholesome breakfast, and pick up from the hotel for a tour of Luxor’s West Bank. Your first visit today will be to the Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal necropolis consisting of more than 60 tombs. This is also the site where Tutankhamun’s tomb was discovered in 1922 by Howard Carter. Medinet Habu Temple will be your next stop, and it will probably be one of your favorite stops because it is a magnificent site. Your last stop for the day will be at the Colossi of Memnon, a name given to two towering stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. After your tour ends, transfer back to the hotel.

Wake up and enjoy one final breakfast, and then it will be time for check-out. Then, you will board your flight back to Cairo, where your tour manager will be there to meet you and escort you to the airport’s International Departures Terminal. Sadly, your magnificent trip has now come to an end, and it will soon be time for you to board your flight back home.
