At 6:00 am, a professional guide from Best Destination Tours will pick you up from the hotel in Cairo to commence your fabulous Egypt Desert Safari Tours to Siwa. Hence forth, the El Alamein day trip from Cairo history begins at the World War II cemeteries. Together with other tourists, we will go to El Alamein Commonwealth War Cemetery. You will see the actual site of the battle as well as the World War Museum located within. Then drive on to the beautiful bay of Marsa Matrouh on the North Coast, where you are going to have a seafood lunch, then depart for Siwa, which is approximately 6 hours drive away from El Alamein. Take a dip in a hot spring before being transferred to sleep at the beautiful Eco-lodge for the night.

Breakfast will be followed by more fun-filled experiences while you are also in the process of completing your Siwa Oasis Desert Safari. You will also be taken to Mai Siwa, the modern settlement, which has houses and ruins of the old town of Siwa, weakly called (Shali), most of which is already a melted down town. After that, we lead to the temple of Alexander the Great (the Temple of the Oracle), located in the ancient Aghurmi village from the 26th dynasty. Procced to the Temple of Amun Ra at Girl Ubayda, who’s builder paid homage to Amun Junk, the trinity of goddesses. Then get familiar with the one-of-a kind Siwan heritage with a visit to the Siwa House Museum, where one will find the ethnography of Siwa’s Bedouin tribes, and have your meal at a popular square in the Oasis surrounded by Shaly Fortress at Abdo Restaurant.
Unwinding midday at Cleopatra Spring (Ein Guba) by swimming and frolicking in the clear blue waters filling natural pools; thereafter, you will be taken to Fitnas Island to watch a once-in-a lifetime sunset.

At the ecolodge, enjoy an organic breakfast before embarking on a tour of the Great Sea This tour will commence at Maraki village, where we will proceed to the giant Siwa Mountain, where the first ever human footprint was found, and then we will continue our African safari expedition, the Siwa Oasis, amongst the wind and sand, fossil dune and its marine fossils of ancient coral reels from the Cambrian seas. Head to the position of interest that is located in the great sand sea basin, which is the beautiful lake found in the desert, and it will also be a good place for viewing the flamingo birds. Use the opportunity to go for a swim in the cold waters of a lake far removed from the flaring desert and also in a very calm environment. Then sandboarding takes center stage, where even though it is not snowboarding speed-wise, with the correct wax one can go down some of the steep gargantuan sand dunes in the great sand sea, which is fun and more thrills to come After the sandboarding, it is time to freshen up in the hot spring called Bir Wahid, which is famous for relaxing and soothing our aching muscles with 40 degrees of hot water. Experience another lovely sunset in The great sand sea amidst the dunes while sipping Bedouin tea.
Dinner and stay in Siwa for the night.

After breakfast, followed by another leg of your Siwa Oasis Adventure—this time from Cairo to the rock-hewn tombs of the Mountain of the Dead (Jabal El Mawta). These include the fascinating tombs of the Siwa Oasis rulers that date back to the twenty-sixth dynasty. then proceed to the Bedouin village of Abu Ali and experience the living conditions of the Bedouins, including the one-grade school, and other fascinating aspects of their culture, including a possible visit to the tomb site of Alexander the Great, before returning to Siwa to enjoy the festivities at Dakrour Mountain during the annual El Syaha Tourism Festival celebrated by the Siwi people on the first full moon of October. Return to your hotel for overnight in Siwa.
