The dam’s construction began in 1960 under the regime of the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser and was completed in 1971. It aims to protect Egypt from flooding and serves as the source of the most important electric power in the country. Your Aswan sightseeing continues with a visit to the Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis. This temple is exceptional because it was one of the last places where the ancient religion of Egypt was practiced, even after the advent of Christianity. After finishing your day tours, the Aswan tours conclude, and you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in and overnight accommodation.

Built on the East Bank of the River Nile by the New Kingdom’s King Amenhotep III about 3400 years ago. Its construction was later completed by his successor, King Ramses II.
Then you will carry on with your sightseeing on this side of the River Nile and go to the Luxor Museum.
This museum was opened in 1975 and contains an impressive collection of ancient Egyptian objects excluding the available objects related to the reign of Amenhotep III, Coptic items of the 5th century, and Mamluk period Islamic art. You will then be returned to your hotel in Luxor for the night.
