A representative from our Best Destination Tours will be present at the Cairo International Airport and will be carrying a placard with your name on it. After this, you will be taken to your hotel, traveling in a private air-conditioned car. Inside the hotel, our assistant will facilitate your check-in and go through your Egypt Christmas packages itinerary with you to clarify the timing for each tour's pick-up. Savor your breakfast in your hotel in Cairo. Your guide takes you to the Giza Plateau to explore an enormous burial structure for the Egyptian king Cheops, one of the remaining Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, the iconic Sphinx, and the valley temple of the great statue as part of our many tours to Egypt. If you're looking for places to visit in Cairo in one day, this tour offers a perfect glimpse of Egypt’s rich history. After that, you will go to Saqqara, where the Step Pyramid complex and the first all-stone structure in history (Djoser pyramid) can be found. The tour covers going inside Teti’s pyramid. You'll have a lunch break and afterwards you're going to visit Memphis, the sensible and religious capital of Egypt for a whole millennium, and which remained a cultural hub for all three thousand years of ancient Egypt, to see its open-air museum famous for the alabaster sphinx. Return to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Breakfast will be taken at the hotel. Then transferred to Cairo International Airport for a flight to Luxor. Your exploration begins on the West Bank, where you'll visit the Valley of the Kings, the majestic Colossi of Memnon, and the awe-inspiring Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as the Temple of Deir el-Bahari. If you want to try unique things to do in Luxor, these awe-inspiring sites will draw you into Egypt's ancient wonders. The day continues with an East Bank visit that includes among the biggest monuments of ancient Egypt imposing Karnak temple complex. Head towards the Luxor temple to explore the temple courtyard and the Ramses II granite statues. You will be transferred back to the Luxor hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. You will be greeted in Cairo by your private guide, who will accompany you to the Egyptian Museum, home to the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun, one of the highlights of our Egypt tour packages. Then head to Saladin's Citadel and the Mokkattam Hills, you will see the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali and be rewarded with breathtaking views of old Islamic Cairo, with its ancient mosques and minarets. After lunch, visit Coptic Cairo, which includes the Roman walls of Babylon, the Hanging Church, and St. Sergius Church-the place where the Holy Family is believed to have rested. A visit to Ben Ezra, where a Pharaoh was thought to have had his palace place where Moses' basket was found. Explore next the marvelous and historical bazaar of Khan El Khalili, located in Islamic Cairo. Check in at the hotel and overnight in Cairo.
