Our guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise for an evening of entertainment at the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple! The experience begins with a walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes, leading you through the grand facade into the Great Court. As you navigate through the complex, a resonant voice of a Pharaoh narrates the history of Upper Egypt and the New Kingdom, while illuminated displays highlight contributions from rulers like King Tutankhamen, Ramses II, and Queen Hatshepsut against the night sky.

In the second part of the show, you'll be seated overlooking the sacred lake, surrounded by the illuminated temple complex as the captivating story of Egypt unfolds further. Please note, although the show is suitable for all ages, the dark surroundings and loud commentary might be unsettling for younger children. The terrain around Karnak is sandy and uneven, so we recommend wearing comfortable, flat walking shoes. This excursion offers a unique opportunity to witness these ancient sights bathed in the magical glow of night.
