Itinerary

Day 1

Our customized tour that lasts for 8 hours or less includes a brief introductory lecture mainly on the three major pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure. Entering one of the pyramids (extra charges apply) gives you free time to explore while awaiting the outside attendance of your guide. A quick drive to the city side of the plateau brings you to the Sphinx, an iconic symbol of the ancient history of Egypt.

Another highlight while being in Giza is the Solar Boat Museum, which houses the funeral boat of Khufu remarkably preserved. Proceeding hence is Cairo's famous markets visit, Khan el Khalili bazaar, in which you'll have leisure time to roam around its vivid, bustling streets, bargaining for souvenirs, and soaking in the beat.

You will also have the opportunity during the day to visit a Papyrus Institute to see how this famous artwork is made. With that, you would be returning to the hotel as early as 5:00 pm, giving you enough time, after immersing yourself in the wonders of Egypt's past and its vibrant markets.
